Users can now opt to have their Google search encrypted to prevent third parties from intercepting search terms and results.  By simply entering https://www.google.com users are directed to the Google SSL search page.  Although currently not available for Images or Maps, Google SSL offers a very interesting option for secure internet searching.  Happy Google-ing!
